This is a blog of someone who gets a little lost and bogged down in genealogy limbo; that hazy place in between "hobbyist" and professional. Hopefully it will become a source of info as well as a source of support for those who are also making their way through the maze of records and business know-how
I'm glad to see this. Sure helps pull the rest of your evidence together, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt's closure for sure, Nan. I knew he had to be there but because of St E's crappy record-keeping, NARA couldn't follow up with his records. All they could do was confirm he had been there. Being able to see his stone and know that it's there definitely closes that door. It's a huge relief!
